NHS Data and Analytics Platform

Our expertise in data, analytics and business intelligence provision has been recognised by our engagement with NHS England and Improvement, and a request to lead the delivery and implementation of a mission critical programme of change, namely an entirely new, national, NHS Data and Analytics Platform. This Platform will transform the big-data capability of the NHS to both respond to current challenges presented for example, by the Covid-19 pandemic, and will deliver unprecedented new capability to better predict future national, regional and local demands on the service, through the provision of real-time, joined-up data and analytics, at phenomenal scale and pace. The establishment of the Platform will enable the integration of traditional and non-traditional data flows and the generation of previously unrecognised insights, enabling the NHS to recognise the real-world benefit of ‘at-scale’ data integration. AGCSU will be leading the roll out of the NHS Data and Analytics Platform across the country, working in collaboration with partners.

The importance and challenges associated with such an ambitious programme of work, should not be underestimated, neither should the benefits to the NHS and the country as a whole. This is why we are seeking exceptional digital, data and technology talent to see this complex programme of work through from start to finish.
